To create the distinctive "Hoshigaki" textile, NUNO hand-silkscreens adhesive onto a linen ground, covering it with sheets of washi paper. Once the adhesive has dried, the fabric is rinsed, washing away the unattached areas of paper to magically leave the pattern. Here it is tailored into an elegant tunic with hidden snaps—perfect over pants.
